Historic Environment Scotland gratefully receives donations of funds and expertise from individuals and organisations through giving as a result of appeals, individual approaches and by working collaboratively with partners.
We need to ensure we are open and transparent in our dealings with people from whom we accept funds and other benefits. Our Ethical Donations Policy is built around our values and sets out the areas we need to consider before accepting gifts. This policy outlines when we may refuse donations and when we must refuse donations and the level of due diligence we will undertake.
